Nutrients of Foods Commonly Fed to Carnivorous and Omnivorous Reptiles
Compiled by Melissa Kaplan, 1995
Note: not all foods are suitable for all reptiles. This is not a recommended list of foods for reptiles, merely information on certain food items that are commonly fed or recommended to be fed to omnivorous and carnivorous reptiles.
* Silkworm values are for worms gut-loaded on mulberry leaves.
For other insects, please see the University of Iowa's Entomology Lab's Nutritional Value of Various Insects per 100 grams. And if you'd like to indulge yourself, be sure to check out their recipe page.
